An orphan highlight

IMG_2328CameroonOrphansReadHRBooklet   Our founder met these kids in an orphanage in Cameroon, Africa. They speak French there. They were very happy kids, acting up and laughing, just like any kids anywhere,  and they are well taken care of. The thing they all had in common was their parents had all died of AIDS. I asked Dr. Shuttleworth if that meant the children had AIDS, and she said: "We don't ask that question." I took that to mean that yes, at least some of them do, but that is not what is focused on. Their health, well being and education is what the directors of this orphanage put their attention, including any treatments the children need. This is one of the three orphanages that inspired our founder to do the project.
